Where Southern roots meet Afro-futurism · Nashville, TN
Country in Color is a Nashville-based live music movement and showcase dedicated to providing a platform for multicultural and non-traditional artists in country music. Hosted by Country Soul sensation Brei Carter & Kelly "DJ Top Notch" Buchanan, we partner with venues and promoters to celebrate diversity in Music City through live events.
The Mission: Billed as "country music for all colors, by all colors," the platform creates opportunities for independent artists of diverse backgrounds to be seen and heard.
Live Events & Showcases: They regularly produce live music events at popular downtown spots like ChiefWhiskey Bent Saloon, Acme Feed & Seed, and Tin Roof Broadway.
Festival Presence: We host special showcases during key Nashville music events like CMA Fest at local venues such as Kingdom Café & Grill and the NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon.
Community: The movement is presented by EBX Productions (Eric "Bossman" Byford) and frequently collaborates with community and independent artists like Ja'Cee, Elsie, Gangstagrass, Steve Cortez, Andrea Vasquez, Alyssa Dominguez, Skyelor Anderson and numerous others to develop authentic performance opportunities.
